On the 28th of October Vice Mayor Madeleine Sjöstedt (FP) inaugurated the remodeled entrance level of the famous Stockholm Public Library, originally designed by Gunnar Asplund in the 1920s.

“We have listened to Stockholmers’ wishes: More study places with electrical outlets, sofas, more "easy to read" books, café, better lighting and more tables and chairs. An inspiring place where you want to stay to read, study and hang out.”

TEA has been working with the library in a number of projects, adding new small hubs in the subway and other places where people pass by in everyday commute. In this latest project though, we have remodeled the entrance level of the iconic Asplund city library, making it more accessible to all citizens.
