SAS

SAS Lounge Concept 1993-

A clear conviction to break with the businessman approach of the 80’s plus the desire to promote a contemporary Scandinavian attitude, were the starting points for the extensive work with SAS, Scandinavian Airlines. All corporate objects presented to customers, either small or large, were to communicate the company culture. Within SAS airport lounges, this attitude set for the production of a characteristic series of furniture. Most importantly, the lounge was to balance the intense, public atmosphere of the typical airport terminal, offering a domestic-like environment where all needs should be catered for. The work of the SAS graphic identity communicated on its passenger carriers was made in collaboration with Stockholm Design Lab.
