Mackmyra Svensk Whisky
The forrest whisky cellar was the first building to emerge in the woods soon to be Mackmyra Whisky Village. It's an underground facility for storing the raw spirits that, after at least three years, become whisky. In this cellar the private 30 liter casks are kept at optimal temperature for the duration of the aging process, before they are bottled by hand and shipped to the owner, or ambassador as Mackmyra lovingly calls their best customers.
The cellars are gradually expanded by unit of ca 100 square meters harboring 1000 casks each. Cellar number four is currently in production.
