KappAhl approached TEA with the vision of gathering design studios and management divisions of this major clothing retailer in a new building. The building was planned to illustrate the structure and culture of the company with short ways of decision-making and an emphasis on the creative aspects of the business. Openness between the different disciplines was promoted with the artist atelier as an essential metaphor, creating an unconventional building with studios situated alongside management offices.
