Flinks Järn

Flinks Järn is a hardware retailer of professional goods for carpenters and builders. As part of the development of "Västra Kungsholmen" in Stockholm they needed to find new premises. A site inside a courtyard adjacent to the old site was available but posed difficult problems with parking as well as adapting the new construction to existing foundations and surrounding buildings. The solution was to ad parking to the roof of the new building, constructed entirely of prefabricated concrete slabs, lifted into place from the street.
