From Thomas Eriksson to TEA

Thomas Eriksson started the architectural practice in Stockholm in 1988. After getting off to a flying start with customers such as SAS and Cappellini, the office has grown organically. Anchored in his Norrlandic roots and with a strong desire to explore the points of intersection between art and science, Thomas has continued to develop his company TEA into what it is today.

Over time, he has created a growing company around him. The office has become a platform where architects, interior designers, designers and engineers work together closely. The field of work is wide-ranging, covering all scales and dimensions – from brand-building architecture to retail concepts and private homes.

In 1998 Thomas founded Stockholm Design Lab (SDL) with art director Björn Kusoffsky and strategist Göran Lagerström. TEA and SDL share offices and work together on a number of projects.
